LIVE MOSAIC LAW?

God's word given.

Are we bound by Yahweh’s word to live under the old Mosaic laws, or Yeshua’s word?
A claim made by Avi Ben Mordechi, to live life to the Mosaic laws, my study in answer.

THE QUESTION IS; DID JESUS CHRIST, (YESHUA), TAKE AWAY THE NEED TO LIVE UNDER MOSAIC LAWS?

What does Yeshua say in the Scriptures:-
Luke 24:44. “And he said unto them, these are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.”
“All things must be fulfilled, which were written in the Law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.”
Fulfilled= --- Fulfil = bring to pass
Bring to pass = reach a point or level and go further. Come and go out of existence.
Fulfilment = (period task) to an end.
Is fulfilled the same as fulfilment? To find out the context study further.
If the “Law of Moses” could mean the books of Moses, then “All things concerning me” in the book of Moses would be fulfilled = brought to pass, having reached a point, then gone further, that level having gone out of existence, and going to another level.
What other level could Yeshua be going to, and what about the Law? Jesus would have done all written of him in the books to this point, Gone to be at the right hand of God our Father in Heaven (Yahweh), in readiness for the next stage after that of his return and ruler-ship, hence having , passed, reached a point and gone further. Now we know that is definite.
What then of the Law of Moses, or the word of Moses? ------------- First to note. Hebrews Ch 8-9-10, more study and it shows the sacrifices taken away by the advent of Yeshua.
The other note here is that; the Ten Commandments are definitely still in force, but the ordinance laws are according to the dictionary, subject to change or removal, now if these have been removed, how is it that we have to live according to the Torah laws?
Yeshua has fulfilled the law of Moses in the state that it was, and having bought it into a new state, and that is Him, Yeshua, the Law is now in him: All those who follow Yeshua in obedience are in compliance of the Law which is in Yeshua, they seek to walk as Yeshua would have them walk, therefore they do no sin, summed up thus; Gal.5:14. “For all the Law is fulfilled in one word, even this, “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thy self”. Pause and think awhile.

The Ordinance laws which are not the Ten Commandments, therefore the ordinance laws by their very nature are subject to change at any time, and can be taken away at any time; they are not eternal, knowing that we can then read Col.2:14. “Blotting out the hand writing of the ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to the cross.” Now remember this doesn’t include the Ten Commandments or the added ones of Jesus Christ!

LOOKING AT MORE SCRIPTURAL QUOTES AGAINST LIVING MOSES LAW.
GALATIANS:-

3:23-25, tells us the laws were in force until Yeshua came.
5:4. “Christ has become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by Law; ye are fallen from grace.”
5:14. “For all the Law is fulfilled in one word, even this, “Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thy self.”
5:18. “But if ye are lead by the spirit, ye are not under the Law.”

ROMANS:-

3:27. Alludes; there is boasting in those who profess they can obey fully the 613 Laws of Moses as they have been written, but with the Law of Faith, no one can boast because justification is by Grace of Yahweh: some who work the Law of Moses think they have earned the right to the Kingdom of God, and that God owes them: the justification by Faith in Yeshua, and by Grace of Yahweh, takes away that undesirable trait, no one can boast!
3:28. “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the Law.”
3:31. “Do we make void the law through faith? God forbid: Yea, we establish the Law.” ESTABLISHED = Set up, get generally accepted; this in context means into Yeshua, him being the law to follow.
4:4. “Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of Grace but debt.” (Look at 3:27 above).
4:5. “But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.” (Look at 3:27 above).
4:13. “For the promise, that he would be heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the Law, but through the righteousness of faith.”
7:6. “But now we are delivered from the Law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in the newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of letter.”
Colossians. 2: 13-14. “And you being dead in your sins and in the circumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened, together with him, having forgiven all your trespasses; blotting out the hand writing of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross.”

2:20. “Wherefore, if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances.” ---This is saying, if you are with Christ, in faith, you are not of the world, so therefore are not under Mosaic ordinance laws!
To sum up Avi Ben Mordechi, ---- his doctrine.
Romans Chapter 10:1-4 sums up what has happened for Avi.
Romans 10:1-4. “Brethren, my hearts desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they might be saved. For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of Gods righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.”
Galatians also sums up Avi, look to Chapters. 1: 6-10. And, 2:4-21, then, 3:15-19, and then, 5:2-10.
Someone has tried in Galatians, to turn the people Paul had in the Faith of Yeshua, back to orthodox, and Mosaic Law, and Paul has a very good account of the fact that that is not what Yahweh, and Yeshua want of us now.
Rom. 14:23 (Diaglott). “------ and every act which is not from conviction, is a sin.” --- KJV. “Whatsoever is not of faith is sin”. Conviction = firm belief, and we can only get that from Yahweh, because we cannot get our strength from mans arm.
Note: the Ten Commandments are perpetual and still apply (Sabbath included).
Answer to the question; --- No! We are not bound to live under the torah or mosaic laws! Edit.--- Get this in context though, it is the doing Laws the Laws which required the people Israel to be physically working at, and continuosly, it was work! The rest of the Laws are of a moral nature, and some are God caring for our well being, the moral ones are covered in the Ten Commandments.  (Some times some things require a further clarification, see edit below) End edit.
Important knowledge; this study is called examining the spirit, when doing so like in this case, don’t spend to much time studying what the persons doctrine is in depth, get a general overall idea of what the doctrine is, then study the scriptures calling on Yahweh to give the understanding.
If you spend to much time delving in depth on the doctrine in question, you may find some things that convince you away from, or give you doubt on the truth, the Adversary, the Devil, is more than likely to be the one behind the false doctrines, and his deceiving is subtle, and it can take you away from the truth of Yahweh.
Get to the Scriptures quickly, and bring the truth out of the Scriptures, not reading into the Bible but reading out of it, with Yahweh’s help.

Note: By living the Ten Commandments, and following Yeshua as he commands, we would in effect not breach the ordinance laws naturally, as our  new found nature in Christ; we by nature, would not find the need to Stone to death, all and any one, who broke an ordinance law, some people still look to that today, not believing that Jesus is the promised Messiah; and this is what he nailed to the Cross; (Being that, we no longer follow to the letter the ordinaces laws of Moses, the New Covenant which is the New Testament has taken over: the arrival of Jesus having taken away the old Laws in their severity).

Edit------ I now have been given understandings further to this as follows: Briefly, the whole understanding of the matter, is to know that certain laws given to Moses to pass on are still in force; this then raises the question, where do we  draw the line as to what we live under? The Ten Commandments still stand, the Sabbath still stands, unclean meats are still unclean, how then do we define what the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, has done to take away any of the Laws given to Moses from God?---- Once again we have the problem of, the more modern most Bibles are getting, the further from the original manuscript, and meanings they are getting! The Original Greek Manuscript of the New Testament tells us from Paul, in the book of Galatians that it was "The works of the Laws of Moses" that was nailed to the Cross of Jesus! Look at this now, and know, that it is all those things that God put the people Israel to work to do, Physical activities, like Sacrifices, Stonning to death, and all the work that God put them to do which was tied up in being obedient to God, to be able to observe and do the Laws of Moses, this was that which Jesus the Christ nailed to the Cross.

Remember that; when Moses Received the Ten Commandments from God at Mount Sinai, Moses says that they were given him from God, and God said no more! Therefore telling us that the Ten Commandments were a separate issue of Laws, Now then, remember that, while Moses was up the mountain God saw and told Moses that the people were transgressing at that very time, and for Moses to go down to them quickly. Now lets go straight to the point here: God saw how quickly the People turned to their Idol worship, and debauchery, and how it was their way of the past, so when Moses had delivered the Ten Commandments that God had rewritten on the two tablets of stone, to the people, God then told Moses to send the people back to their tents, but for Moses to stay with God for some further Laws, and we know that these were the ordinance Laws given as a separate issue to the Ten commandments. We know that these extra and very detailed Laws were given because of the transgressions of the people, we also know that these Laws were full of "Works" to do!

Now some things that stand out very clearly in this matter are these: the Ten Commandments were given, and God said no more! The people transgressed even while they knew God was on Mount Sinai, and Moses was with him, and even Arron who is Moses Brother, and the High Priest of the people, was involved in the transgressions! This was a very sinful people, and God saw that to keep them from their transgressions, that they needed to be kept busy, to keep them from their Idol worship and to stop them from forgetting him, he gave them plenty of Laws and "Works" to do, so as they would be too busy to transgress, kept very busy trying to keep all these newly issued Laws!

The Law of Moses as it is called, was given to the people Israel because of their transgressions, and until Jesus Christ came and fulfilled them, that is the "Works" of the laws, the people Israel had to observe those Laws for their righteousness, to be justified, theirs came from "Works", "Works of the Laws"! But for us, through Jesus Christ, our righteousness comes through Faith, we are justified by our belief into Jesus Christ, and all who come to him in obedience, Jew or Gentile!

Yes Jesus nailed the "Works" of the Law to the cross, he fulfilled that part for now, and therefore know this: when you read that we are justified in Faith, and not in Works, this doesn't mean we don't have to do anything as Christians, Jesus still commanded that we spread the Good news, the Gospel and bring people to Baptism, Know that the "Works" referred to is that of the Laws of Moses, and that is the "Works" we no longer have to do!

Dear reader, I have removed a small piece from here which was written in blue, It formed part of a study which was in progress, and was not suppose to form part of this book at this stage, rather it was meant as questionable copy notes. Considering that I haven't finished the study, and need to wait for God to give me the understanding before continuing,it seems likely that it may show up in the Book "In the knowledge of Saints" in it's correct form.

It now seems that I was correct in what I wrote, even so, I will wait until God has bolstered me with a conviction on the matter before I replace it.

Note to self, it's written that God has setup the Gentile in a way which will make the Jewish people Jealous, this to do with trying to bring the Jewish people into the Messianic Beliefs, check it out.
